Claudia graduated as a veterinarian from the University of Sydney in 2008. She then worked as a mixed animal veterinarian in Victoria before focusing on her passion for small animals working in various small animal practices in Western Australia. Craving a challenge, she moved to the UK with her kelpie cross dog Nero and cat Baci. She has spent the last 7 years working as a small animal veterinarian in a busy referral hospital and has also worked as an emergency veterinarian. Claudia is passionate about canine and feline small animal medicine and in 2024, she attained a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Small Animal Medicine from the University of Liverpool. Claudia also has a special interest in senior patients and is committed to helping improve their quality of life. She enjoys helping dogs and cats with fearful behaviours especially after having her own fear aggressive little Chihuahua called Gracie, and understands the challenges these patients and their families experience. Claudia believes every animal counts and is dedicated to educating the public and providing veterinary care to help improve animal welfare in dogs and cats in Western Australia. She has recently returned to Perth after working in the Pilbarra in Newman as the only vet. She has also worked as a volunteer vet with AMRRIC visiting remote indigenous communities in the Pilbara helping with spey and neuter and vaccination programs for dogs and cats. Claudia is thrilled to be back in Perth and working as the lead vet with the amazing GoVets team. Claudia loves going for walks with her two dogs Nero and Bindi and enjoys baking, especially making abstract celebration cakes.
